Treatments

We are proud to offer a number of treatments, including treatments for:

Alcohol Use Disorder

The end goal for treatment for alcohol use disorder is prolonged abstinence from drinking. When clients have just left treatment and are in early recovery, they are at their most vulnerable. This is why we provide continuing care and ongoing support in the form of outpatient care, therapy, and an understanding sober community.

Dual Diagnosis

For some, addictions can co-occur with mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. It is thought that around 16% of people who present to a treatment center with addiction also have an underlying mental health condition. Our staff are highly trained to determine whether specific symptoms come from mental health disorders or substance use disorders to avoid misdiagnosis.

Opioid/Opiate Addiction

Specializing in opioid addiction allows us to treat those recovering from heroin use and prescription opioids like oxycodone, codeine, and fentanyl. Treatment is usually composed of physical and mental treatment, using medication to mitigate withdrawal symptoms, and in-depth therapy that tackles the underlying causes and triggers for opioid addiction.

Levels of Care

The Excel Treatment Center provides a number of different care options to accommodate different life circumstances, including:

Partial Care Program

This program is designed for clients who need the support of sober living and benefit from being actively involved in therapy and group work. Clients who choose this program will be given supervised accommodation a short walk from our main treatment center and attend groups six days a week.

Outpatient Care

Our outpatient care programs are designed to help those with addiction who benefit from the therapy, unity, and boundaries that a treatment center provides without residential care. This also means that treatment is more affordable.

Intensive Outpatient Care

Intensive outpatient care programs are vital for some clients struggling with the return to normal life after rehabilitation. They usually involve significantly more hours per week than outpatient care while still allowing time outside of treatment to work, live, and enjoy life.

Sober Living Homes

Sober living homes can be a useful tool for those leaving rehabilitation worried about not finding housing in an appropriate environment. While residing in sober living homes, recovering addicts have all the support they need around them. They will be encouraged to continue down a positive path in the recovery journey by highly-trained staff and their peers.

Aftercare Support

Aftercare support, or continuing care, is any treatment that is received after rehabilitation. For many people, this is a necessary tool to provide a solid foundation for their recovery. Some of the most popular options include 12 Step programs that are free to attend, and based on achieving abstinence through spirituality and altruism.

Medically Assisted Detox

Without medically assisted detox, quitting some substances immediately can lead to extreme side effects, and in severe cases, death. Through supervised detoxification, clients can have severe symptoms alleviated by medications that are designed to slowly reduce their body’s physical dependence on a certain substance whilst making the process as comfortable as possible.
