Our Mission

The Excel Treatment Center was founded to assist in the long-term, sustainable recovery of those suffering from substance and alcohol use, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders. We understand what it’s like to live with these disorders, and we treat every patient with compassion, love, and respect.

Our mission is to provide exceptional outpatient substance abuse treatment by offering outstanding clinical services, psychiatric treatment options, and family support choices. We seek to succeed on our mission with each and every patient, by immersing them in the amazing recovery community here at the Excel Treatment Center. We all share a common goal here – and that’s to Excel in Life.

Our Commitment to Recovery and Family Bonding

The most important part of our job here is to ensure that we facilitate a comfortable recovery process that can be sustained in perpetuity. We provide services that encourage long term recovery, and the benefits of a substance-free lifestyle. Through our outpatient care and continuing care initiatives, we assist in helping those recovering from a substance use disorder, a mental health condition, or alcohol use disorder to stay on track to maintain their recovery after rehabilitation is complete.

Part of what helps to sustain long-term recovery is having a good support system, and this goes beyond just professional help into personal life. We recognize that many friendships, families, and relationships have been destroyed by the abuse of drugs and alcohol. In order to restore those personal relationships, we offer a number of group therapy and family therapy options that can help to repair issues of distrust.

From Our Founder

As someone who has worked in the industry for decades, I am proud to be involved with the important work that The Excel Center is doing. My purpose in life is helping others to find recovery; I love showing them that there is a light after the dark and it is possible to live a healthy, accountable, and manageable life.

I am an advocate for spiritual growth through the 12 Steps – one of our mantras is to “accept the things we cannot change, but find the courage to change the things we can”. Through our compassionate program and amazing team, we have helped hundreds of clients change the things they could, and live a life filled with hope, faith, and courage.

Can I Keep My Job and Go to Day Treatment?

Realizing that you might need treatment for your addiction is a huge step in the right direction. However, many fear their life will change when they take that first step, including potentially losing their job. This is a valid concern; however, at Excel Treatment Center, we want you to know that you have options.

How Can I Support a Loved One Struggling With Addition?

Addiction not only affects those struggling with the addiction but also affects the friends and family around them. It can be just as challenging to support them as it is to watch them in active addiction. Learning to create a loving, supportive space without enabling can be difficult, but it is crucial to develop this space to help your loved ones through their recovery.

The Importance of Family Participation During Treatment

Addiction is a disease that affects the whole family. Family members often feel the impact of addiction in a very real way, which can lead to feelings of anger, resentment, and frustration. While these emotions are natural, they can also be detrimental to one’s treatment if left unchecked.
